I had mixed feelings about the coffee tour at Finca Filadelfia. While the guide was knowledgeable and engaging, the lunch was quite underwhelming for the price, and the overall experience felt a bit lacking. The location was beautiful, but I expected more for what I paid, especially in terms of the dining experience.

Rooms

The rooms were quite small and didn't justify the price of $225 a night.

Service was a mixed bag; some staff were friendly, but others seemed a bit distracted.
Location

The location is surrounded by lush greenery, which is absolutely stunning.
Dining

The lunch was disappointing; a simple chicken broth and rice didn’t feel worth the price we paid.

Facilities were decent but nothing spectacular.

I stumbled upon this hotel while visiting Antigua and it turned out to be a hidden gem with stunning surroundings. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking, filled with lush green vegetation and views of volcanoes. The breakfast was delightful, especially the coffee! However, I didn’t get to experience the coffee tour this time, but it's definitely on my list for a future visit. Overall, it’s perfect for families, and I can't wait to bring my kids next time.

The experience at the coffee tour was fantastic, especially the chance to pick coffee right off the trees. The beautiful surroundings and the interesting sorting and roasting tour were highlights. However, I did encounter an issue with missing items, which left me disappointed. The service overall was good, but better security might be needed.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms were immaculately clean, but they felt a bit stuffy with no ventilation. Large windows let in natural light, but a ceiling fan would really help.
Service
9.0
The staff were lovely and helpful throughout the tour, going above and beyond in some cases.
Location
10.0
The location felt like a haven outside of the hustle and bustle, with stunning views of nature and a calm atmosphere.
Dining

Dining was a mixed experience; the food was delicious and beautifully presented, but I found the coffee to be too acidic for my taste.
Facilities

The facilities included a well-maintained playground for kids, which was a nice touch, especially for families.

I had a wonderful time at the plantation; its beauty and close proximity to Antigua were a delightful surprise. The horseback riding tour was a highlight, and I enjoyed both the views and the delicious coffee served during lunch. However, I was disappointed about losing my glasses, but the staff genuinely tried to help me find them. Overall, I would recommend this experience despite the minor hiccup.
